Also during law school, Jordan had the privilege of clerking for several prestigious lawyers and law firms, serving a term as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas R. Frierson, II, of the Tennessee Court of Appeals, and serving as a research assistant and teaching assistant at LMU Law.

After graduating law school, Jordan immediately went into private practice. Jordan initially practiced with a highly respected civil defense law firm in Knoxville, Tennessee. Jordan has since had the pleasure of joining Hagood Moody Hodge PLC in February 2022.

Jordan has worked on a variety of cases and has knowledge and experience with several areas of the law, including litigation and transactional experience. He has handled civil litigation matters as plaintiff’s counsel involving car accidents and other personal injury matters, gender, age, religion, and race discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, amongst many other personal and business causes of action. As civil defense counsel, Jordan has defended actions involving the Tennessee Government Tort Liability Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, breaches of contract, as well as various other federal and state statutes and causes of action.  Jordan has also defended various criminal matters, including felony and misdemeanor charges, as well as regular and CDL traffic violations. On the transactional side, Jordan has represented both lenders and borrowers in commercial lending transactions. He also routinely forms, advises, and prepares legal documents for small businesses all across East Tennessee.  Jordan can also provide estate planning services to individuals.

Jordan has been admitted to practice law in all Tennessee state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jordan is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations, serving as a Committee Co-Chair within the Knoxville Bar Association.

In his free time, Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife, their son, and their Golden Retriever mix and Goldendoodle. He also enjoys spending time with their friends and family. If there’s a University of Tennessee football, basketball, or baseball game, you can bet that Jordan is either in attendance or watching it on TV. Including his love for the Vols, Jordan is an avid sports fan, a self-proclaimed foodie, and a coffee enthusiast.
